Semmy Lee is a surface pattern designer based in Seoul, Korea.

She specialised 'textile print' at Chelsea college in London and focused on developing design

for both of still-cut and moving pattern for space. 

Her various collections are designed for fashion, interior and products.

Her clients are Louis Vuitton, Darwood Clinic, Cloud 9 Fabrics, Impact,

Kitty Bunny Pony, Ice Cream Fairy, Nesshome and various home-fashion,

quilt fabric, kids wear and stationery product companies in Europe, USA and Korea.  ​

Some works were featured on Crafts UK magazine No. 230 May/June 2011.

and some other works were introduced on Uppercase issue 32, 2017. ​ 

 The themes that she delivers through designing are




Delivering joyful and relaxing spirit and sometimes humour.

Swaying Lily is one of her most characteristic collection and this is the decorative arts

which adapt the concept of animation to surface pattern design.

The name 'Swaying Lily' is inspired by adorable lily of the valley swaying in the breeze

and this collection conveys the moods of comfort, calm and relief in various spaces.  ​
